Bruce Willis net worth
Bruce Willis has made the bulk of his considerable net worth of $180 million from his acting career, although he made his break from appearing in the TV series Moonlighting. Having appeared in over sixty major movie releases Willis is able to command multi-million dollar fees for each film he stars in. There seems to be no sign of his slowing down even though he has turned 60.
Bruce Willis has starred in some of the highest grossing movies in the last twenty years or so, including all of the Die Hard franchise movies. As there are sixty movies he has been in the list could go on for a while. Willis was paid handsomely to narrate the part of Mickey in Look Who’s Talking and then Look Who’s Talking Too. Willis usually appears in his films in the flesh mind you, though if the price is right he does voice over work. His voice is almost as recognizable as his face in any case.
Other leading roles were played in Hudson Hawk, Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, as well as Last Man Standing. Altogether all of these films that starred Bruce Willis have taken in almost $3 billion so there is plenty of scope for Willis being able to ask for multi million dollars to star in a motion picture. Then again the major film studios know that putting Bruce Willis in the cast list will increase its earnings.
Willis keeps very busy in his career and he has the luxury of been able to pick and chose the films he stars in. He seems destined to continue adding to his net worth year on year for as long as he wants to do so.
About Bruce Willis
After his father ended his posting in West Germany the Willis family moved to New Jersey. The young Bruce Willis aimed to become an actor and was also interested in pursuing a musical career too. To that end he studied at the Montclair State University. He had some minor roles in films in the early 1980’s and appeared in some Broadway musicals. It was to be TV that gave him his big break in the guise of Moonwalking in which he co-starred with Sybil Shepard. Such was the popularity of Moonwalking that Willis found it much easier to get leading roles in films afterwards. He later made several guest appearances in the sitcom Friends.
Bruce Willis has been married twice, his first wife was actress Demi Moore and he is currently married to Emma Heming. He and Demi Moore were married in 1987 and later got divorced in 2000. They have three daughters and both later got remarried (and in Moore’s case divorced again).
Willis and Emma Heming were married in 2009, and they have two daughters. He is a family man, and works hard to provide for them all.
