Gwen Stefani Net Worth History
Gwen Stefani is a singer/song writer, who started her music career as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the rock band No Doubt. Stefani and No Doubt signed a contract with Interscope Records in 1991 and the band released its self titled debut album in 1992. Due to the unpopularity of the Ska sound (at the time) which was prominent in No Doubt’s music, the album was unsuccessful as was the second album called the Beacon Street Collection released in 1995. It wasn’t until the releasing of the third album (also released in 1995) called Tragic Kingdom that No Doubt had their break through album which was a best-selling album. No Doubt would go on to release two more successful albums, Return of Saturn (2000) and Rock Steady (2001). In 2003 Stefani turned her focus in another direction which was designing and developing her own fashion line called L.A.M.B (Love. Angel. Music. Baby). The clothing was designed taking many different influences from Japanese, Guatemalan, and Jamaican designs. Stefani expanded the fashion line to include a camera, mobile phone charms, and foundation garments. In November 2004 Stefani releases a solo album called Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Also in 2004, Stefani expands into the acting realm getting her first notable acting role in the major motion picture The Aviator as Jean Harlowe opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. In 2006, Stefani expands her clothing and accessories line to include limited edition fashion dolls called Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Fashion Dolls. In December 2006 Stefani released her second solo album called The Sweet Escape. In 2007 and 2008, Stefani developed a collection of perfumes and fragrances that she added to her clothing and accessories line. Stefani had reunited with No Doubt in 2008 and they started work on another studio album called Push And Shove which was released in September 2012. In January 2011 Stefani also becomes a spokeswoman for L’Oréal Paris. In 2014, Stefani became a judge in the TV series The Voice for the 7th season, substituting for Christina Aguilera while she was on maternity leave. However, Stefani is returning to The Voice this year for the 9th season again as a judge to fill in for Aguilera. Stefani had also planned to record her third solo album this year.
