He has established himself as a British R n B singer. Jay Sean is a stage name for this artist who was born in Harlesden, London. He spent his early 12 years in Southall in west London and then in Hounslow. His parents are of Punjabi-Sikh origin from India.
Jay Sean began rapping at 11 years. He studied in a private boys’ school before joining the Barts, and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary, University of London.
